Trying to remember a car from a magazine

Hi people,

 

Have just rifled through my old magazines from about 10-15 years ago, and couldn't find a specific car I was looking for. Wondering if I could put all your memories to the test to see what we could come up with.

 

Sketchy details......Corrado VR6 turbo(lots of work, had a lot of power from memory) owned by a german or dutch guy??(haha told you sketchy)

Color I think it was the dark metallic blue(could have been the dark purple also memory failing..). Had a tan leather interior IIRC.

Wheels similar to or may have been 3 piece Porsche Turbo twists with gold outer bolts.

 

Anyway if anyone remembers the car or the article and has it I'd like to hear about it.

Jeroen Dik / JD Engineering? Although I'm not sure that was ever a VR turbo. I think it was more down the 20vt route.

that name rings a bell, have the article handy? Might do a google image search and see what I come up with

 

Don't think it was that person, the car I am trying to remember was definitely a VR6 turbo.

 

The car could have been one of the other dark metallic colors but definitely wasn't black.

I think Jeroen Dik's car was 16VG60 or some sort of G60 derivative..

 

Is it this fairly famous one?

sukh's car was a bit later, theres a thread here about andres which also has a pic from another german car which would fit the bill if its not andres youre thinking of.

 

Also check this twin turbo VR.. a lot later from these images, but have no idea about the history..

I think it was Andre Kains ;) it was blue before brown right?

 

Now does anyone have that article called "big daddy kain"? If so am wanting to know the specs on those 3 piece turbo twists. :)
