Rustynuts 0 Posted October 27, 2012 Well think again, look at this list that has had to be replaced on our Alfa 159 Ti, it is 5 years old, done 55k and all work has been done since June 11 when we bought it, so about 15 months. Day 1, battery dies, new battery required 3 weeks in, egr valve sticks open, thankfully sorted with a clean up Plastic bleed valve blows off, meaning loss of coolant Replaced pas fluid as Alfa put wrong fluid in at factory Brembo 4 pot calliper, one piston stuck, replacement calliper required Full service with cambelt change Replaced near side track rod plus gator and track rod end Replaced both upper wishbones due to excessive noise. Also done remap with egr and dpf delete, done as much for reliability as anything else.
Jamie 1 Posted October 27, 2012 Gotta say though the 159 is one fine looking car, especially the estate.
Rustynuts 0 Posted October 27, 2012 Yeah fantastic to look at and pretty good to drive too when everything is working properly. My bro has the sportswagen, I just about prefer the saloon but if I needed an estate then I would not hesitate. Got the T5 though so can't see that happening!
