PhatVR6 0 Posted April 23, 2004 My 8v used to regularly get up to 110 on a fast run. nothing to worry about. when it hits 140 then slow down... I've seen coolant temps go over 100 too without causing any problems.
stevemac 0 Posted April 23, 2004 Ideal oil temp is around 95-100 degrees, 115-120 is the limit before having to fit an oil cooler. Although there is a relationship between oil & water temps, water system has a radiator to cool it.
daves16v 1 Posted April 23, 2004 As another 16v owner to set your mind at rest, my C's temps behave exactly as yours does. Highest oil temp I've had is 112 in traffic and comes down when moving. Not had any probs so far.
Henny 0 Posted April 23, 2004 yeah, my old 16V corrado used to have almost identical temps to that... 8)

Rossco 0 Posted April 23, 2004 If it really bothers you buy a new radiator when i did temps dropped significantly and it was only £50 from GSF 8)
