It can cause inteference if you run them close together

g0ldf1ng3r 15 Posted February 8, 2013 Glad all is electronically ok. I recall on an install in a previous car where i had lots of engine noise through the sub i fitted a small & IIRC cheap crossover as the can help reduce the interference - it worked a treat & having read this thread i really should fit 1 to my rado lol
jonny_ash 0 Posted February 8, 2013 I get a bit of a pulse through the speakers when I start it up but it is only very brief and only once each time. I just live with it to be honest as I don't think it will do the speakers any harm as it is nothing they dont handle on a constant basis anyway. I'm presuming if the voltage wouldn't be too high to damage the amp in any way as if it was it'd simply blow one of the many fuses.
bully 10 Posted February 8, 2013 can someone send me a link on ebay for one of these crossovers?
eugopnosaj 0 Posted February 9, 2013 You need a ground loop isolator http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l2736&_nkw=ground+loop any of these will do! Make sure you get one with RCA plugs, i used to have one of the cheap £3.99 ones with the gold label and worked a treat, have since got a better amp.
