Late Corrado Centre Console Auxiliary Gauges, VDO pod. Brand new, rare and obsolete

Recommended Posts

Guys

I have one of these available. A hard to get hold of part, new and unused in original VW packing - so mint condition.

Looking for £250.

I'm based in Reading.

James to be honest £250 is the going rate for these now as they are long obsolete ;) They would look superb in your car mate so why not take a shot at them? I love them especially when they are illuminated.

Might even go in the garage and fire her up just to look at them :)

Relax clumpy, simple typo, I'm sure even you make them.

I'll be checking with VW tomorrow. Several years ago these were obsolete.

Thanks for clarifying KIP. Good to see you still with the Corrado scene. Do you still have your VR6?

It wasn't VW themselves that was selling the last known stock of these though was it ... ? I forget the name. Old age.

And hello Mr Moonlight  Again my memory could be failing me, but Asim?

My apologies it must be an old link i am getting on ETKA with (showing my newbie status). If i knew they were worth that much i would have took the set that was in the g60 i swapped with baron for the R32:(

I think there are a few on here with similar status, David Wort i think too has owned his for similar years. Yeah a love hate relationship at times but totally fell for it again after the refurb underneath last summer :)

Finally...

And just to pee on everyones fireworks, these are a classic part even in RHD form.

I know they were showing as green last time I looked but can't get on the classic parts price checker as the site is down right now.

Still available from ARZ @ 270 euros plus post.. doesn't make these a bargain, but not a saving.

Clumpy - that set in the G60 were butchered to fit :( it was an early dash, as is yours, so these wouldn't fit anyway..

Thank's Bill that's the one i saw didn't realize it was LHD for some strange reason it tell's me at the top of the screen it has translated the page when it hasn't and i'm not very good at german however your link translate's it.

Nice one Baz I don't imagine it would be as easy to wire to the R32 engine either

I wonder why I bother sometime and just for clarification I am not in the best of moods but if I post up something I don't just make it up I check the facts first.

If you have an up to date copy of ETKA with the appropriate updates it will show you that the RHD instrument cluster is a classic part, cross checking that on the VW classic parts website (google it, I can't be bothered to post a link frankly) shows that they have stock (as shown by the green box). So RHD later style VDO centre console gauge cluster, part number 536 919 527, is available from VW classic parts at a price of 200.98 Euros + shipping etc.

So don't spend a fortune on ARZ shop with the very big windows and a man with a gun and a mask at the door to mug you on the way in as well as the way out.

That is all.
