coullstar 0 Posted April 29, 2004 Could you please do me a favour and try some work on this baby. (sorry bigrim) First of all tha car has to be red and secondly could you make the wheel centres a dark grey (not the caps or rims). I would appreciate any help as I have not a clue about using Photoshop.
dinkus 10 Posted April 29, 2004 Err that's not going to be an easy job. Making the wheel centres grey is do-able but because the car is so dark it's hard to pull out the colous used in the car from the tarmac. You'll end up with red tarmac and the car in a funny shade of dark red. ... but if you can find a red car I can cut put those wheels on it with grey centres

munkay 0 Posted April 29, 2004 Thanks!! Wheels look a little small. How do you do this in Photoshop? Not really that simple to explain on forum - the best way is to work through a few things yourself and learn your way around the program. Won't take you long at all to start doing stuff like that. Look into layers etc.. Have a look here for some good tutorials: (lol - the site is real btw :) ) http://www.good-tutorials.com/

coullstar 0 Posted April 29, 2004 Thats more like it!! What do you think of the wheels with the grey centres?
coullstar 0 Posted April 29, 2004 This is more what I aiming for. Nor sure whether to paint the centre caps grey as well now.
coullstar 0 Posted April 29, 2004 Here is my inspiration. Anybody know a nice metallic grey as on these wheels.
Shilakadaddy 0 Posted April 29, 2004 ahhh, yeah I'd keep it all as one colour, either that gun metal grey I guess it is... or maybe as all black. But I think it'll look better with the center caps the same colour as the middle bit. Nice idea, looks good
biggrim 0 Posted April 29, 2004 OI, my car!!!! It's famous (I knew those steelies would inspire someone)
Henny 0 Posted April 29, 2004 go for Anthracite as the colour... not black, not grey, but classically different... :) I reckon it'd suit the steelies down to the ground.... 8)
