G60radoboi 10 Posted February 25, 2013 Tried washing the windscreen tonight and the washer jets are so poor they only managed to spray the water about an inch off the bottom of the screen. I can only assume I need a new washer pump?
VWVW 1 Posted February 25, 2013 Try using a pin on the holes and see if thats any better first.
G60radoboi 10 Posted February 25, 2013 Nothing wrong with the amount of water coming out of them it just is not spraying with enough pressure.
paddy26 3 Posted February 26, 2013 do you still have your rear wiper installed? What's the pressure like out of that? the same pump is used for both. \Paddy
fla 9 Posted February 26, 2013 disconnect the tube from the pump and operate the pump to see if you're getting good flow from there. If not, thats your problem. However, it could be that you've got a lot of mould etc in the transfer tubes, which you can replace quite easily. Plus it freshens that part of the car up nicely! G60radoboi 10 Posted February 26, 2013 Aint tried the rear paddy. I have however bought a new pump, it was only a tenner so not too fussed. If that doesn't solve it I will replace the pipes. Might get a new wiper motor too as they move faaaaaar too slowly for me hahahaha
bully 10 Posted February 26, 2013 check the pipes that run along the bonnet... run a air line through them also... mine was doing this but after the pin and ariline they work a treat.. i agree wiper motors of rados are stupid slow..
