Jez 0 Posted May 2, 2004 Got a bit of a problem, was cleaning my car out whilst listening to the stereo i.e. keys in ignition - when the stereo went off and on a couple of times which i thought was a bit strange. So I tried to start the car and it wouldn't let me! All that happens is when you turn the key you can hear the solonoid click but the alarm sets itself off. Its a laserline 996 and the diagnostic it gives you says someone is trying to start the engine which is true but why is it doing it? Anyone know?
