STORM 2 0 Posted May 7, 2004 hi all my spoiler stuck midway today whilst I was driving (refused to go down when approaching a stop). When I got home, and switched off the ignition, the car refused to start up again. It would turn over and fire and then lose revs and cut out - kind of like a fuel pump problem. I thought this was coincidental, but when I replaced the fuse for the spoiler the C started straightaway. Is this fuse meant to be 10 amp? Is the fuel pump also linked to the same fuse as the spoiler? cheers
Supercharged 2 Posted May 7, 2004 The spoiler was on different fuses and differnt sizes depending on the year / model.... very confusing.
Allan 0 Posted May 8, 2004 Check the electronic Idle controller system, if this one i stucked, it cant open and the engine will barely start  . About your spoiler... that's worse! :(
Kajeeba1 0 Posted May 25, 2004 Hi Storm 2 I have the same problem - it is fuse 16 - try and change it then it may start working - i have put in a 20A instead of a 15A - it has blown again but thatis the problem Have you fixed it so far Iain
STORM 2 0 Posted May 25, 2004 Yes thanks Iain, I had replaced the fuse (see original post) but I was wondering why the fuel pump is on the same circuit as the spoiler? Did yours start and run OK when the spioler had fused?

Did yours start and run OK when the spioler had fused? i had this too at the beginning of this year......it was just the fuse needing replaced(15amp IIRC) and a relay pushed back in
