Bournemouth James 0 Posted June 24, 2004 As for wanting to use 305mm setup on a vr6, i dont see the point when the 312mm setup from the leon is a straight swap on to the vr6 yeah, but it costs double what the Ibiza setup costs! :? Are you sure henny?, im sure tsr are selling the 312mm five stud kit for £
Henny 0 Posted June 24, 2004 ok, so it's 50% more... :? I'd not seen the 312mm kit that cheap before... 8) I got my 305mm complete kit for aroudn £450 inc. postage from Bill at Badger5...
NormanCoal 0 Posted June 25, 2004 312 is a basic TT or Golf 4-Motion brake setup, single piston slidling caliper. Perfect upgrade for a VR6. The Leon Brembo kit is 323mm, and costs the best part of one large last time I looked As I said earlier, the reason that I went to 305 and stopped there is because of the 15" wheels that I wanted to run
Henny 0 Posted June 25, 2004 Ah, Cool, so I was right with the double answer... 8)

Bournemouth James 0 Posted June 25, 2004 Badger 5 is selling the leon 323mm brembo kit for £695 http://www.badger5.demon.co.uk/ Im sure if you went to the dealers you could pick up the kit cheaper as you can with the 305mm kit
dr_mat 0 Posted June 25, 2004 So the biggest easy conversion for the VR6 with standard 15" speedlines is....? 305mm brembos from Seat or 288mm Golf 3? I need new disks+pads shortly anyway, so thought I'd look into the options..
