VR6Pete 0 Posted July 31, 2013 One of the wires on my drivers seat that lifts it forward has snapped. What's the fix? Ta. Pete
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 31, 2013 Replace it :D it's very easy once you've dismantled the recliner section of the seat.

VR6Pete 0 Posted August 1, 2013 where abouts are you mate? I have 2 or 3 stripped seat backs knocking about. they may have the wires in :) I'm currently in Cornwall on a driving holiday :) But live in Stoke. Looking at the wire today it doesn't look like its snapped as its a neat cut.... How does it fix in the handle on the side? How do I take it apart then dudes? Suppose a good time to fix my bolster at the same time then ! Bit a nightmare to be honest getting the kids in the back lol. If you have any pictures that may help me, please do upload :) Pete ---------- Post added at 11:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:00 AM ---------- Suppose if I knew the length of your wire I can check it against mine then I Know if mine has snapped
VR6Pete 0 Posted August 1, 2013 Yep. It's snapped. The other end fell out my seat today :) Will require a new one and info on stripping the back support?
