stevec14 10 Posted October 5, 2013 Hi All It's that time of year when we either park up(lucky b***ers) our raddos or use during winter. I'm in the latter category as mine's a daily so in preparation for the wintry months ahead I've been looking for genuine mud flaps for my raddo. Needle in haystack springs to mind but I did find this picture. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4045/4597211495_04ffd97909.jpg Any body know what model vw these are off or part number? Really like the look suits the car IMO. Thanks Steve

stevec14 10 Posted October 5, 2013 (edited) Mudflap's on a Corrado won't be looking for them in a hurry a bit like leopard skin seat cover's :pukeright: Yep I had to think long and hard about disrupting the sweet lines of the raddo. You don't expect to see mudflaps on a coupe. But needs must, I have to use the car for winter months and hopefully muddies will keep most of the marks off doors and bumpers etc. I didn't think they did sculptured flaps for the raddo? Most of the posts i have read suggest that they factory(quantum) mudflaps are a load of poo! The ones in the picture seem to be off another VW? The owner of car suggests they were off the front of another vw. Thanks for replies Steve Do they make leopard seat covers for recaro's? Do you think it might clash with the pink fluffy steering wheel cover i have? Edited October 5, 2013 by stevec14

dumptyboy 0 Posted October 6, 2013 My VR had mudflaps fitted at some point and they have left some nasty looking holes from where they were attached. My car also have a full scuttle panel fitted that appeared to be standard, but from what I understand these were not standard fitment on the Corrado? VAG-hag 0 Posted October 6, 2013 Std scuttle is a 3 piece job made from the same plastic used in selection boxes :)
GrahamU 6 Posted October 6, 2013 I keep thinking of putting mudflaps on mine, not like those in the pic but chunky ones like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200965114985?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 With the car lowered they would sit quite close to the road, (takes me back to my old mk2 escort days) Another reason being that the council have this annoying habit of spreading stonechips on the roads that are never stuck down
