Just a couple of probs to iron out....

ABS light is on, abd VAG-COM won't talk to the ABS. Which wires should I be looking for?

 

Fog lights won't work either, even the switches won't light up.

 

Other than that, I'm loving it! it's a blast to drive, I've done a 1000 miles in it in less than 2 weeks!

does the horn work?

 

Reason I ask is 'cos it's very easy to get the horn and one foglamp multiplug mixed up which will stop both the horn and the fogs working and sometimes blow both fuses.... :oops: :roll: :lol: :mrgreen:

I re-loomed the wiring with some nice new self amalgamating tape and did it all nice and neatly right upto the multiplugs... Then I found 2 identical black multiplugs behind the passenger side headlamp... :roll: :oops:

funninly enough, no it doesn't. but it never has done since I fitted the steeering wheel as there is nothing to earth the button to. but the fog lamps still worked during that time.

 

Fogs haven't worked since I did the VR6 swap, and that's when the ABS light came on too.
