Shell cuts £10 - £50

Recommended Posts

I have a complete shell with rot around the screen, rear quarters are very good, rear apron very good (debadged rear but has seams intact), sills very good, inner wings very good

Small cuts £10, whole quarters £50.

If you want a specific piece mark it on your car with masking tape and post a pic for a price, large pieces will have to be collection only

Hi Dox,

Could you give me a price posted for the attached?

Appreciate you might want to wait for someone to take the whole rear quarter!

Cheers

Hi, I was viewing on my phone before, how much inside the arch do you need? Which side of the seam inside the door shut? I courier via My Hermes so £20 plus post by weight.

https://www.myhermes.co.uk/

I'll do the cuts next weekend in daylight, the courier will take 7 - 10 days or so.

Actually I might leave this at the moment. A 16v has come up on ebay local to me that I'm interested in but if I miss it I'll probably come back to you.

Hope thats ok. Cheers

I could do with the recess where the fuel filler cap/neck is. Not sure on how much of the surrounding area I need, but I'd just like to call dibs for the moment :p

Oki doke. I've managed to get a picture of the area I could do with in the meantime, It's probably bigger than I need and I realise it might be a ballache cutting into the arch. But something along those lines would be cool....if possible

I can do it, but obviously its well into the arch making it scrap and from your point of view the repair would be easier to disguise if the section was welded on the flat side rather than the arch.

The petrol tank is still on the car so no cuts until next weekend at the earliest

Yeah absolutely, fair point. I'm probably just been a bit over cautious and to be fair, I think the majority of the corrosion is at the other end of the recess. So above/around the arch would be cool (however much leaves enough material for anyone else who might want the arch) and yeah, no rush :)

Cheers

£15 plus post if the cut leaves the arch intact, do you want the flap too?

Yeah that sounds fine. Don't need the flap though, thanks

Such a horrible place for rust, I had a mk2 golf previously which had rusted in the exact same place as well.
