Talltorrac 10 Posted November 16, 2013 Hi everyone I'm looking to remove the external door trim/bumpers - I prefer the smoother lines of the 'rados I have seen without and so have discovered that they don't appear to do much with regard stopping me twatting the doors on the varying inanimate objects that plague our parking spaces! What's the best way of getting them off - hair dryer and patience?
seanl82 23 Posted November 16, 2013 Yeah a hair dryer and patience. Try to get as much of the foam adhesive off as possible whilst doing that, as its a nightmare getting off afterward. To get the remaining adhesive off, apparently a rubber wheel on a battery drill works wonders, but otherwise you need yet more patience with some tar and glue remover or thinners, and a clean microfibre.
