Headlight covers

Recommended Posts

I’ve had a set of those fog protectors from Renewart since last year. Positives - they are well made, look smart and have kept lights safe. Negatives - not cheap and suckers have failed a couple of times, but there is nothing else out there.

Surely some clever person can come with a good solution??

Yep I've got it,

007 bullet proof glass for the fogs,

complete with retractable wings,

or is that me drinking Red Bull flying with out wings

But on a serious note yeah there must be something, what about the blanking caps that are fitted in replacement for fogs on the Canadian Corrado's, if you have those fitted you can then attach LED strips or small round LED fog lights ??

I can only think some kind of double sided 3m tape or something other than suckers but again after a while getting wet etc its probably going to fail too. Im not sure how you could do a clip on the fogs like with the bracket piece under the bonnet for the headlight protectors.

Unfortunately the picture doesn't really do them justice, but they are keeping them on the Corrado as they like them so much,

Thanks annavr6 and VW Heritage for my set. Arrived a while back and they fit

great. Look great as well. Something along the same lines for the fog assembly

next would be the icing on the cake!

Thread resurrection as I finally got to fit these today, after nearly  2 years in a box.

My opinion, quality fit, so easy, look great yet inconspicuous and are cheaper than replacing a headlight lens.

Very happy with them.
