P3rks 11 Posted December 29, 2013 (edited) I'm after a VR6 coilpack which is working but misfiring due to cracked plastics etc. Or I'm after the ICM which is the metal backing and wiring on the coilpack. Basically I'm after a cheap coilpack with a working ICM I can use for my upgrade. I have two fully working coilpacks but I'm reluctant to rip them apart. Thanks. Stonejag 10 Posted December 30, 2013 Just kill a working one, they're all on borrowed time ;) Had to coat mine with Vaseline earlier to get home... (note to self: don't unplug the leads while it's running, 22kV is painful!) More practically, there's no way to tell if a duff coil's killed the ICM until you split it and use the ICM with a new set of coils as you're already planning.
