good quality shocks??? everything i buy knocks /leaks

Recommended Posts

ive had my car 9 years now...over the years ive tried plenty of budget-mid price kits

trouble is after 12 months or i get problems...ive had em leak, then my last set the rears clonked and now it sounds like the fronts are clonking

i dont drive particularly hard, no track days...just a tad lower than std

can anyone suggest a brand that LASTS ? its not so much fitting new uns ,its the cost of alignments all the time

Steve, I rate Weitec stuff from C&R. The kit on my (g-mans) Golf has had 4 years of hard use and hasn't given me any bother. Darren has fitted coilovers now, not sure if he still has the Weitec?

I'm just having to replace my leaking rear koni sport dampers afer 50k of fairly hard use so I think they have been a good buy. They cost about £50 for a rear damper and £100 for the front.
