steveo29 0 Posted May 22, 2004 ive had my car 9 years now...over the years ive tried plenty of budget-mid price kits trouble is after 12 months or i get problems...ive had em leak, then my last set the rears clonked and now it sounds like the fronts are clonking i dont drive particularly hard, no track days...just a tad lower than std can anyone suggest a brand that LASTS ? its not so much fitting new uns ,its the cost of alignments all the time
h100vw 0 Posted May 22, 2004 Steve, I rate Weitec stuff from C&R. The kit on my (g-mans) Golf has had 4 years of hard use and hasn't given me any bother. Darren has fitted coilovers now, not sure if he still has the Weitec? Gavin
corradovr6sc 0 Posted May 22, 2004 I'm just having to replace my leaking rear koni sport dampers afer 50k of fairly hard use so I think they have been a good buy. They cost about £50 for a rear damper and £100 for the front.
