I'm in talks with a company that can possibly run me a batch of the self lubricating brass sleeve bushings, the ones that fit in the wiper spindles. There's 2 in each spindle so 4 in total would be needed. They simply knock out using a soft punch and hammer, I've managed to strip my old spare wiper mechanism down and get the old brass sleeve bushes out, from one of the spindle housings. vw rule 19 Posted May 28, 2014 Quick update. I've had a reply from the company that I was in contact with regarding the brass sleeve bushings, they can produce and send me a batch of them. Cost is £0.50p per each sleeve bush, 4 of them are fitted into the spindles 2 per side. Cost break down: Sleeve bushes per each £0.50p X4 = £2.00 can send out with linkage order, once I have delivery of them. Or for the bushes to be sent out on their own 4 of £3.00 These are the self lubricating sleeve bushings that the 2 wiper spindle shafts rotate in.
