Spork 0 Posted May 23, 2004 Do the rear mounts on the Corrado do anything other than stop the engine falling on the floor ? I am asking because i am debating wether or not to replace these while i have the engine out. I have replaced the front one as i know it handles most of the torque, but i'm not sure if I need bother with the rears unless they are completly perished ? dr_mat 0 Posted May 23, 2004 If they're knackered replace them. You'll know, the engine moves quite a lot - check by putting the handbrake on and lifting the clutch gently in reverse gear. Spork 0 Posted May 23, 2004 Thanks for your reply Dr Mat, sadly this is not an option for me as the remains of the old engine is currently hanging from a crane and the new one is half built on a stand.
