lapisb 0 Posted February 28, 2014 Updated springs are meant for updated cams to prevent coil binding with higher lift cams and also valve float, if your using standard cams they will do nothing except put extra load on the rest of the valve train and accelerate wear. It would be better to use NEW standard springs instead. Having said that you could use slightly heavier springs if you want to push the revs up a bit and have the peace of mind of not getting valve float Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
