vr6paul 0 Posted March 16, 2014 Folks , I rescued my old vr from certain death a few weeks ago by buying it back. I've replaced bearings, brakes, belt etc so far along with heater matrix. While ensuring the damp interior was sorted I noticed some wet padding up by the windscreen on the passenger side so I think the gasket for the fan/heater intake was gubbed. I did make a poor attempt at repairing this the last time I owned it (9 years ago!). I've now removed the box under the scuttle and cleaned out a whole load of leaves etc. Is it possible the gaskets are still available? Is it a vw part still? Or any other fixes? Many thanks
