G60 Paddle clutch

Recommended Posts

hey guys...

My mate needs to know wheres the place to get these from for his G60 stage 4.

Also...what else could he do for about £500 more to improve the power.

Simple question...but is it that simple to answer? 8)

Sanjay.

Providing he is running a 68, change this to a 65m pulley, then get some red-top injectors so it wont lean out, and Bilal's redtop sns chip to map the whole thing. Sorted.

Now thats what i call BOOST!! :D

I'm sure you mean a 68mm pulley. Bets things he can do is:

Port the charger properly by G-Werks/Pitstop

65mm Pulley, Red Top Injectors and our specific No Lag chip

268/276 Camshaft

its just recently been ported to Stage 4 by jabba a month ago....68mm pulley he thinks and chip too.

I'll recommend that lot to him...and send him your way bilal!

Still wondering on paddle clutch...i.e. a sports clutch like HELIX, Black diamond perhaps?

why do you want a paddle clutch in there?!? With the kinda spec you're talking there, you're gonna be maxing out at around 230BHP... Stick in a decent VR6 clutch (straight swap!) and you'll be laughing... easy to drive and plenty of grip with factory smoothness and actually slightly cheaper than a normal G60 clutch! :? 8)

He needs to get a decent sized intercooler in there next rather than messing around changing one modified component for another.

Jim, how much did the Rallye intercooler on yours cost?

In order...

nope, but probably a good idea to get one from the time when Corrados were being built so you know it'll fit! ;)

dunno - I bought a VR6 Corrado one, but seeing as my gearbox now has a Golf VR6 input shaft, 1st and 2nd, I'd guess it's the same! ;)

and yup, they are... 8)

Eurocarparts do 'em for a good price... make sure you get a LUK one as Sachs are having a few quality control issues at the moment... ;) 8)
