Will this be a problem ? Handbrake plate

So i refurbed my rear calipers but when i was removing the bracket thingy on the back a piece popped off.

 

This one is fine -

But this one is missing the bit

I think its there to stop the bit that the handbrake cable is hooked into rotate too far round. But without it it still doesnt go any further round.

 

Problem or not ??
