kevinbowe2000 10 Posted June 12, 2014 My spoiler goes up fine on the button but when I press it down, the fuses blows. I put about half a can of lithium grease into it but that hasn't helped. It is harder to put up by hand then down by hand. It nearly falls down by itself somewhat. Very little effort. I put in a 20amp fuse to see if that would bring it down on the button and it does, bit takes a serious amount from the battery. Cabin lights dim etc. Wondering if I need a new motor for it? And if so, is the rear wiper motor the same as the spoiler motor as they look very similar. Removing rear wiper so was thinking of using it instead of more expense. Any advice would be great.
