Guest sam1990rhodes Posted June 20, 2014 Guys, Looking at possibly purchasing an pearl grey Corrado, the only downside is the following damage: I have a spare wing in my garage from my previous early shape rado, will this fit or are they different shapes? how much would it cost to repair the door/wing do you reckon? (respray/replace door etc) cheers, sam :)
g0ldf1ng3r 15 Posted June 20, 2014 hi sam it will depend on what body revision they are from - is the pearl grey a late model? what reg? I know that the late models, eg N reg, are the 3rd body revision type & that included greater flaring of the arches on the wings - thus they may not match if the spare you have is of an early type as you say it might be worth your while dropping into a good body shop by you & asking if they can give you an estimate, or at least say if they can repair it, from the photos good luck - the pearl grey can be a lovely colour
corrado wannabe 12 Posted June 20, 2014 Hi mate, I had a look at the advert for the grey car, its a late model so although your early wing may fit on, it would not look correct as goldfing3r said, it has more flared arches. I do like the grey car, interested to know why they fitted a manual choke to it? Dougie

Supercharged 2 Posted June 20, 2014 Lol, a manual choke on a Corrado!
Stonejag 10 Posted June 24, 2014 You want late wings on that one. Or, give it to a decent body shop and they may be able to press it back out, they're only single-skin on the front arches. Pearl Grey's one of the best colours, would make a nice 20vt base if the rest is sound! Stone
