ajhvw93 10 Posted July 10, 2014 No, worries with the Rpm box not working. This can be hooked up to pin 48 in the Ecu which is set by default to open the flapper at 4500 rpms. The advantage of having the box is changing rpms. But its not needed to use set up
sexybourbon 0 Posted July 10, 2014 I run a schrick , how do you change the timing on when it opens Whats the avantages and disadvantages
ajhvw93 10 Posted July 11, 2014 Do you have the RPM box as shown above....grey box. Remove the lid held down with 4 screws. You will see a bunch of switches numbers and letters. There is a chart that shows order the the switches should be turned (up or down)for the diff RPM's...Its easy to do your just following a chart. Im not sure if you lads are familiar with Autotech Sport Tuning? They have a chart on their site. Bartek may have a chart as well? I can get a link tomorrow. Advantage is user pref Plus with diff set ups diff cam sizes, larger throttle body, head work etc etc. Diff opening of flapper would be beneficial. Most feel 4200 is optimal. I played around with it until I found a setting I liked.

science 0 Posted July 11, 2014 Slightly off topic but one of these would work well as a replacement controller, with a tach and shift light to boot. http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5_21&products_id=
