delfinis38 1 Posted July 16, 2014 just changing my corrado script and VR badge.... what sticky do I need for the VR badge. and should I change the four blue grommets for the script....
diarmaid16 1 Posted July 16, 2014 I would just use some 3M double sided tape or similar. I'd replace the grommets too while the badge was off.
Jim Bowen 1 Posted July 16, 2014 I just use the double sided foam strips that they sell for numberplates, can get it at quite a few petrol stations etc Just cut it into bits, stick it on the badge and then trim around the letters with a sharp knife. Cheers i have some of that, but thought as the foam was about 1mm thick the badge would sit proud. is conventional double sided tape better than the sticky foam stuff you use for number plates ??? does the foam squash down ?? robrado974 1 Posted July 16, 2014 Sorry mate , will explain . I had the rear of the car smoothed . Two years after I went back to oem . There were no holes for the badges , so they were bonded on (paint shop type glue ) . Rob
