Bit of advise on top mounts?

I have a 1.8 16v body with a G60 engine conversion I'm using koni V1, Do i have get top mounts for the body or to suit the engine or is there even a difference ?

 

Any recommendation on what top mounts to get?

You should be able to get / use the "late" type - the VR6 ones :)

I would say get late ones as well, (the separate bearing and the rubber mount), the KW's should have there own spring plate that fits to the late bearing.

 

Did i sell you the KW's? I've used late and early mounts on my car in the past, the bit that interacts with car body is the same shape/fitment. So i'm 99% sure late mounts are the best to get.

Yeah it's the ones i got off you jim, Just feel the top mounts aren't quite right, so i'm going for late vr6 spec, 2 part top mounts ?
