Nice storm

Recommended Posts

Was looking at that earlier on Pistonheads, service history is a bit sketchy from 2002 - 2014

It does say its only done 3k since 2006, but thats hardly an excuse not to service it in 12 years!

Service History is as follows: -

Ian Skelly VW - 9,141 Miles – 02/05/1996

L.C. Charles VW - 18,033 Miles – 22/08/1996

Rawsons Eurocars Ltd VW - 50,267 Miles – 14/05/1998

Aylesbury Mitsubishi – 60,620 Miles – 12/05/1999

Aylesbury Honda – 71,924 Miles – 09/05/2000

Wayside VW – 95,014 Miles – 09/01/2002

Nick Shorrock Autos – 106,834 Miles – 19/05/2014

Yep, for that money I would want to know what happened from 18,000-50,000!!

Might just stop in and have an ask:-D

The Storm looks lovely . I had a look at the Ralley too . Stutters on exceleration ? , for over 7 large you would think they would sort this first , before selling ? .

Like the sticker in the Rallye - Tornadorot, they must have foreseen the way Mk2 would start to go. Price seems high for it considering it does seem to have the rot starting.

Makes me miss my old Rallye.

The classic rot has started and once it starts, your only ever slowing it down. I had mine cut and plated and a few years later it just moved down. Never ending cycle.

Stutter on load could be as simple as water temp sensor or a leak on the vac hose to the ecu or could be a sign of the charger going or issue with the fuel system to a whole host of other things. Think its a bit of a gamble at that money
