VR6 Gar 10 Posted August 16, 2014 Having spent some time swapping the working sunroof from my breaker into VRT I went to open it for the catch to jump off the rear slider on closing. Messed around for ages trying to figure out what was wrong and it turned out the rear pass side slider had broken. Whether this just happened or if it was already like that in the other car and just worked ok I don't know. After some head scratching and trying to switch parts from the other sunroof I eventually came up with this. Drilled a hole where the broken slide had been and put a screw in. Then using a dremel I cut the head down to the correct size and put it back together. Seems to be working just fine now after many test opens.
