Spring Compressors

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what the deal is with these? Looking to buy a kit later on this summer, and I've been hearing that the shocks/springs come seperate and need a compressor to fit them on the car. Are they expensive? Is it worth buying one, or shelling out for a garage to put ma shocks on?

Cheers

Yeah Halfords sell Sykes Pickavent ones, you will need them from the fronts, rears are not under much compression.

You will however need a garage or bodyshop to do the geometry and wheel allignment after fitment and also adjust the rear brake bias if lowering by more than 35mm

Ah ok, was wondering if there was any other adjustments after fitting those shocks - cool I'll budget for that too.
