Mawrick 0 Posted November 28, 2014 Anyone have any info about how easy/hard it is to pull the VR6 from the Caravelle ? I'm thinking of getting myselfe a car of that style (for whenever situations one needs a car like that...lol), and saw one localy with full service history, but a "failing" engine - the owner thinks it only fires on 3 cylinders - myself, not really sure that it might be but....the car have done 200 000 km and I doubt the chain have been done - so I would think it's time to pull it anyway. Any info on these ? - also does a standard VR6 from a Passat 35i fit straight in or is there differences ? (I know they only took out 140HP from these ones). This one is a 1999 model.
