unclean 10 Posted December 13, 2014 Hey all, I picked up what I believe is a leather gearknob (and gaiter) yesterday, but it's slightly different from what's currently fitted to the car. It seems to be the same as this one as shown in this eBay advert. On closer inspection it seems to possibly be leatherette, is there any conclusive way to tell? renson 0 Posted January 14, 2015 I had one of them that was in better condition to the one in my car. I popped out my middle part and replaced the plain plastic one. Some of the black backing pulled off mine so removed the rest of it and i just put some wrap behind it and it looks spot on. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
