Design 90 fitment

Recommended Posts

Here's what I'm thinking for my new vr6 for the summer.

I currently have a full set of 8j design 90s at et52, I'm looking for a pair of the rarer 9j for the rear which are also et52.

I'm thinking 25mm front Adaptors and 30mm rear Adaptors with 195/45 tyres all round.

Will these fit with rolled rear arches, not looking to run too low but have a good look to it.

Front will be 8j et 27

Rears 9j et 22

Thanks

The photos below might give you an idea of what to expect. The wheels are Porsche 928s in 7 and 8, et52 all round. They are on 20mm adapters which effectively makes them et32 and the tyres are 195s on the front and 205s on the rear.

Obviously you are going to have a little more poke with your wheels being an inch wider and with the lower et but they should look good if you can pill it off.

What condition coullstar? How much?

I think they'll fit and I love my corrados with d90s but only just realised they do 9s.

Here's my old 16v with 8j all round.
