leon263 0 Posted February 4, 2015 When I was doing stereo installs years ago I used thick acoustic carpet to trim boxes, woodwork etc. Available in various colours you would simply stick it to the floor, box etc. using spray glue. It will never be a perfect match for the original carpet but if you get the right colour it will blend in OK. You can buy short rolls of Autoleads acoustic carpet on-line and you might even be able to source it in Halfords or a car stereo outlet.
