Wayne2015 10 Posted April 10, 2015 no m8 they are just normal H4 bulbs think they are filled with xenon gas i do know that since fitting them i often get flashed by others coming towards me at night as if i was on full beam. sometimes i give them a taste of what full beam is if they are overzealous lol for example http://www.mecatechnic.com/COR_UA17014_GB_2-ring-xenon-ultima-h4-bulbs-vw-corrado.htm Lol (ref full beam) I know what u mean, these days u simply cannot tell if one have full beam or just very bright lights ... Wayne2015 10 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) As one front high beam bulb blown One fog bulb blown Got some clear side indicators to fit Want to place nice amber film on fog lights Apart from upgraded headlight loom... What bulbs/LED good for all the front/side lights??? I am thinking OSRAM Nightbreakers for main beams - not sure of the others? Manual does not specify type of side bulbs :( Thanks! Ok I have rushed and bought these now: Main beam: High beam: Fogs (+ amber film) Still unsure what bulbs for: 1. Side indicators are 2. Front turn indicators 3. No.19 in pic below are? Have also bought replacement wing mirror glass, as mine are severely corroded from the edges, and the driver mirror is very poor coverage to almost dangerous! Will research to how to fit ... Wayne2015 10 Posted April 10, 2015 As not used driving classic cars as daily or over 6000miles a year, my honda was low on oil and had to top it up quickly! My topping up skills  As I drive my C more and more, do not want panic 230miles away from home and panic buy then top up oil WITHOUT a funnel like last week :shocked!: So will the same oil for my 1989 Honda ok for my VR6? Tigerfish 10 Posted April 10, 2015 Just noticed my front side lights comes on slowly ...dim to bright. Is that normal? Is it the bulb? Sounds normal if the "dim-dip" is functioning correctly. There is a low voltage put through the dip beam bulbs when using side lights, which reacts slowly. If you fit an updated loom, you will bypass/disable that feature. Tigerfish 10 Posted April 10, 2015 Ok - can u see the light switch illuminated here? Nor can i :( Is it supposed to be illuminated? It should illuminate when the ignition is on (so you can see it to switch your lights on when it is dark - not much point showing you where it is once you've found it to put them on) . The window switches etc will also illuminate at the same time.

Tigerfish 10 Posted April 10, 2015 If u got time, mate! Looks like the bulb is a similar setup to the fog and rear screen switches, with hard wired bulbs. Nothing accessible without dismantling the switch. I've changed the bulb in my rear screen switch, so doable enough.
