rado94 0 Posted February 25, 2015 I've had my 94 valver for around five years now and its time for a change. I have the standard 5 spokes at the moment but have recently bought some bbs rx2 16 inch rims the ones off the golf cabrio for it. The suspension is standard so was just wondering what tyre size i should go for,do i need 205 45 or can i go for a larger profile as i guess 45's might give a harsh ride? Hairyarse 10 Posted February 26, 2015 What width are the RX2s? I'm sure my last valver had 205/50 on 7x15s
MZpog 10 Posted February 26, 2015 My valver is on 195/50/15, fitted to Schmidt 8J's. I found this site great for comparing - http://www.willtheyfit.com/
fla 9 Posted February 26, 2015 For 16s you'll need 205/45/16 tyres, as you've mentioned. This keeps the diameter as close to the normal as possible (205/50/15)
rado94 0 Posted February 26, 2015 Cool cheers guys guess 205 45 it is then, tried the willtheyfit.com and seems the 45 profile is almost spot on. Will put pics up when i get them on
