Recommended Posts

I just went to go look at a C and the drivers side carpet was damp and slighty sticky.. am I to take it that the matrix has spewed it's guts?

I think the matrix mainly causes a wet passenger side.

Just sounds like any other VW water leak.

Search for 'wet' 'damp' leak' etc.

Plenty of other threads.

Yeah I thought that too, but I thought I'd check. It doesn't matter, the whole car was a dog anyway :)

Got another 2 lined up to go see at the weekend though

or it could be the hydraulic clutch leaking too(at the pedal)...........well my 944 turbo's one went and totally soaked the driver-side footwell in hydraulic fluid

You know a cars bad when it has 2 different keys, broken heater controls, damp carpet and no work done on it other than oil changes and the odd lambda sensor. Especially with 110k on the clock!
