G60rob 0 Posted May 11, 2015 It often takes a few tries to get it to slide, then when it starts it makes a loud bang as it drops down before sliding. Is this likely to be a motor or cable issue? tony_ack 0 Posted May 12, 2015 (edited) Cable I suspect, if it's still sliding then the cable may still be intact. I'd try dismantling the one you have, cleaning, regreasing and then resetting the cables. Wayne2015 10 Posted May 12, 2015 If its sliding could be cable still intact Does it tilt ok? If so, when tilt up does the side (that drop with a bang) when pushed down its quite sturdy?
