delfinis38 1 Posted May 26, 2015 Not needed to adjust the wing mirrors on the corradofor years until. This morning.... They are very notchy and you have to push the button right in to adjust... Is this normal can you service the mechanism or should I of bought a new set from the company in Wallingford last month.
dragon green 5 Posted May 26, 2015 Sounds like the switch/connectors just need cleaning
delfinis38 1 Posted May 26, 2015 Sounds like the switch/connectors just need cleaning Is that a door card off job. Or just remove the small triangle inside the car. Idiot proof instructions please :)
davidwort 0 Posted May 26, 2015 It's just the direction switch, no need to get at the connectors to the motor or loom, th switch contacts need a good clean probably, so you just need to remove the door handle, I stripped a late mirror switch down on my 8v, now just my 16v thread
delfinis38 1 Posted May 27, 2015 Is it just the plug contacts on the back of the switch that needs cleaning... What should I clean it with.

delfinis38 1 Posted May 28, 2015 thanks - id not seen this :) Cool... Thanks.. This is an early switch ? Is a late one similar ?
davidwort 0 Posted May 28, 2015 yeah, the late one is totally different but the cleaning is basically the same, just get some meths or panel wipe and clean the contact surface, if badly corroded then something like duraglit/brasso will take off the oxidisation
