Super Unleaded = Better mpg (?)

Recommended Posts

Quick n simple question

I put some normal unleaded (not super) in my corrado last week as it was 79.9p compared to 86.9 for the Super

Seems to be that im getting a worse mpg with it.

I heard that although Super/Ultimate etc petrol is more expensive, the car doesnt eat through it as quickly.

Any other Corrado drivers find this to be true?

I found BP ultimate stays in the tank longer and the car runs smoother and more consistently with it.

You're right about 95 unleaded, it doesn't seem to last as long.

I agree with Kev. BP Ultimate seems to be the best on mileage for me.. currently on around 330 miles on one tank of Ultimate and still going.. probably got enough for another 20 or so miles. Unheard of for my G60, I have to say!
