Jamie 1 Posted October 24, 2015 I know the side windows are bonded in but are the seals bonded to the glass? Jamie 1 Posted October 25, 2015 Damn! Was hoping they were going to be filler seals as the glass is bonded. I'm really wary of having the glass taken out as had a bad experience with a screen fitter myself in the past and read plenty of horror stories about glass not being refitted properly. VW_OwneR_85 2 Posted October 25, 2015 these are far easier to fit then the main windscreen, you can easily fit them yourself , not much to go wrong, just a case of applying the adhesive {comes in a kit with paint/glass primer which is applied with a swob} bead around the entire permiter in a triangle shape at around 13mm high, then push in place , being careful not to push to much! secure with masking tape and then leave it, Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I'm happy to have a go at most stuff but just worried about getting them bang on. If it's not that hard maybe I'll just risk letting a glass specialist do it.
