Kevin Bacon 5 Posted June 29, 2004 Or put a chunky screwdriver in one of the brake disc vents.
g60racing 0 Posted June 29, 2004 I did this by myself at the weekend. I left the wheel on then jacked it up then wedged a peice of wood (part of a railway sleeper) between the floor and the tyre.. Bit of a pain but if theirs only one person its ideal.
Scruffythefirst 0 Posted June 30, 2004 Put 2 wheel bolts in the hub, with no wheel, then use a long metal bar wedged between them and the floor. What is the torque setting for a VR6? I'm hoping the strut to hub bolts come off easily enough, but if not I'll take Dinkus' hub off attached to the strut. Makes getting the disc locating screw out a bit easier too.
