karmannski 0 Posted November 30, 2015 I was trying to make a video over the weekend of How to convert clips to your new trims. But due to the lack of time + kids I was unable to make it :( I'm thinking of cutting them and trimming b4 sale so it will be just the matter of removing old clips and gluing them to new mouldings. Each trim is 120cm long, but we need only 108cm with straight cuts. Will keep you up to date. btw some trims have went Friday rest is going out today. karmannski 0 Posted November 30, 2015 (edited) Me arrived Saturday, very happy, thanks Hey! 1st happy customer :) and good luck with conversion. Do one trim at the time to get the right size, b4 you glue it put it on the car dry with clips to see if it fits ok. karmannski 0 Posted November 30, 2015 I did not use any tape, gutters are to wet as it was raining every day. But the one I will use is this one 3M automotive 9mm dual tape.

emu 0 Posted December 1, 2015 Mine arrived today. They look very good, I'm so happy. Thanks
delfinis38 1 Posted December 1, 2015 Why do you need to put the ends in the oven before glue and assembly... Does it aid assembly... Or am I missing the point.
karmannski 0 Posted December 1, 2015 You only put ends to the oven to disconnect them from the old trim.
karmannski 0 Posted December 1, 2015 start from the back and glue the rear clip first. I will get them all precut so it will save you trouble, and you will only remove old clips and glue them to new trims.
delfinis38 1 Posted December 1, 2015 (edited) You only put ends to the oven to disconnect them from the old trim. Thanks missed that bit in the translation of orig instructions. Managed to cut the ends out with a Stanley knife. But will try oven with other side. Edited December 1, 2015 by delfinis38
karmannski 0 Posted December 3, 2015 You have over 10cm of trim each side to play with b4 start.
