16VG60 1 Posted March 26, 2003 The small filter you mention ref my Corrado is mounted on top of the crancase/ ISV breather pot. Clearly if one is supplying the engine with air it must be filtered. We do supply these parts and can be used to good effect when carrying out induction mods on the G60,s. On a different tack to answer some other Q's regarding the photos Darren printed from our day at Thruxton. The wheels are BBS RX 7.5 x 17's. Yes i am using Nology HT leads although however they are modified. Regarding Bhp and torque, we have governed output to 250 bhp for the 1000 mile run in period. There will be more to follow on our second visit to the rollers. As for torque she is a Tyranosaurus of a stump puller and thank Quaife for LSD's!! We did discover that the output is being restricted by exhaust back preasure. To rectify this we will be commissioning our supplier Miltek to produce a tailor made bigger bore stainless system. These systems will include a bigger bore set of down pipes incorporating a flexible joint that will mate with the 16V or G60 cast manifold. They of course will be finished to Milteks superior quality finnish and have an apprx cost of £500. Five of these exhausts will be put together initially so if you are interested please contact us ASAP. My Corrado will be at Inters on both days on one of the club stands,we will look forward to seeing you all.
