Need some help / opinions

Okay people so iv got vr6 with a shrick manifold and a bmc cda im also getting a stainless exhaust manifold and cams which is where I need the help. So question 1: which cams work better with the shrick manifold and other mods? from researching it seems to be between 263's and 268's

And question 2: is it worth converting to obd2 and what effect does it have on torque and power?

I run schrick 268's in mine and have no problem with them

 

268's power is more at the top end range and really starts to pull about 4000

263's i have no exparience with really but im pretty sure they give power at around the mid range

 

Id personally go with a set of 268's and a properly ported throttle , like an amd one or the likes of , there is a guy floating a out that still does them too

Ahh okay thanks mate yeah I was leaning towards 268's anyway. where did you get yours from because there about £850 when ever I see them. Have you done the obd2 conversion?

These are very well recommended amongst the Corrado community. You'll need to factor in shipping costs, but far less all in than you've seen so far.

No i did t bother with obd2 the way i see it is that obd2 brings in the power low dow. , wich is what your shrick does

Ahh okay yeah I did think that to be honest. I was just wondering if there was any other gains with the swap.
