2.0 air metering head. What is that hole?

Recommended Posts

Been poking around my 2.0 engine bay searching for the culprit of my lurching corrado. I have found a wooden golf tee wedged into air metering head just in front of the large rubber air intake. I guess someone was trying to plug it.

What is meant to be there?

What should I do with the hole?

It's air/fuel mix adjustment, do not mess with it unless you know what your doing! I speak from experience

So should there be an air fuel mix screw in there? It is just an empty hole right now.

There's an Allen key adjustment screw down there. It's just a cap to stop water ingress I suppose
