quikstu 0 Posted July 9, 2004 Needing the brakes done. What do you recommend that'll fit under the 15's that I have? BTW pads/discs & calipers. Ta
Joe M 0 Posted July 9, 2004 288 front calipers from late mk3 golf. Pagid fast road pads seem to be well liked but theres a lot of different recommendations on disks. Youll also need different hoses if you go for the mk3 calipers.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 9, 2004 288mm MK4/MK3 Highline setup Porsche 993 304mm x 32 4 pot setup (needs 345mm inside diameter to fit) Speedlines are 335mm at the spokes and 365mm at the inside edge. I'm not sure where the caliper sits though, i.e. in the reduced diameter bit or further back in the 365mm area. Highspec do a 4 pot kit too for 15s (284mm I think), as do Wilwood. Otherwise VAG discs with Pagid fast road discs are OK-ish.
quikstu 0 Posted July 9, 2004 What about style wise? What calipers/discs look good behind the wheels?
Joe M 0 Posted July 9, 2004 The hispec ones look very good behind the wheels. http://www.f-inbigbrakes.co.uk/index.htm
